What the role is:Senior Executive, Finance (2-year Contract)What you will be working on:JOB RESPONSIBILTIES Support student finance operations in billing, receipting and disbursement related processes Support month-end account closing in a timely manner Liaise and work closely with internal and external parties on financial operations including: o Accounting of receipts from funding agencies o System support on finance system and perform user testing o Auditors on finance related matters Monitor outstanding items/issues pending resolutions Ensure compliance to policies and procedures for finance operations Review existing procedures and recommend updates when appropriate Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by supervisorWhat we are looking for:JOB REQUIREMENTS At least 3 years of experience in supporting accounting services Qualifications in Accounting Proficient in MS Office Applications Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skills High adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment Ability to contribute effectively in a team and work independently Proactive and able to work effectively under pressure and during peak period Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlinesAbout Temasek Polytechnic:Established in 1990, Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a leading institution of high learning nestled by the idyllic shores of Bedok Reservoir in Tampines.
