HOYA Technosurgical, is a subsidiary of HOYA Corporation, established in Tokyo, Japan in 2013, which has the origin of PENTAX medical business unit in 1974 arising from the merger of former PENTAX medical business unit & Japan Universal Technologies, Inc. HOYA Technosurgical will be setting up their first overseas plant in Singapore focusing on manufacturing, research & development and sale of Chromatography Media to pharmaceutical companies. The plant manufactures and sells medical devices, such as Artificial Bone Graft Substitutes, Metal Orthopedic Implant and Medical Loupe, along with Chromatography Media.Main Purpose of Job:

  • Account Payable/Accrued Expense
  • Account Receivable/Sales (from FY23)
  • Cash Payment/Collection
  • Fixed Asset Control
  • GST and other tax compliance
  • Monthly SAP input control and summary creation
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Vendor invoice verification, registration in SAP and take ownership of all documentation
  • Issue sales invoice and verify the payment from the customer (starting from FY23) AP/AR processing in a timely manner
  • Cash payment and collection in a scheduled manner aligned with the company's cash payment/collection cycle
  • Fixed asset control (Acquisition, depreciation & physical controls, such as asset plate control, asset in-out record control etc.)
  • Maintain SAP master (vendor code, customer code, any unit price (if applicable) & fixed asset no. etc.)
  • Lead monthly closing activity (SAP GL/AP/AR/AA input, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for submission to the Associate Finance Director
  • Support the Associate Finance Director to check the monthly budget vs actual PL variance
  • Support Associate Finance Director to establish and maintain optimal financial operations in HOTS SG Branch
  • Communicate with Japan's Finance team when executing the finance operation Support the annual financial audit and ensure completion on a timely basis Support timely tax filings with local statutory bodies
  • Quarterly GST filing and its supporting documentation arrangements
  • Ensure compliance with laws and Hoya's corporate rules and regulations
  • Play an important role to lead continuous operational improvement and collaborate with other functions to finetune policies and processes
