What you will be working on:You will assist the Registrar of Moneylenders/Pawnbrokers and the Official Assignee in the discharge of his duties under the relevant statutes: \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform licence administration work for regulated moneylenders and pawnbrokers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support the regulation of and audit on the Moneylenders Credit Bureau. \xe2\x80\xa2 Address enquiries relating to the regulation of moneylending and pawnbroking. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support organisational development and business transformation initiatives, including implementation/enhancement of business processes and information technology systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support policy reviews and formulation that impact operations concerning the regulation of moneylenders and pawnbrokers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Engage with internal and external stakeholders and perform other outreach efforts.What we are looking for:*Key Competencies Required* \xe2\x80\xa2 [Collaborating Within and Across Agencies]: Understand the legislation of own and adjacent agencies, and how they contribute to the whole-of-government enforcement outcomes. Training in the field of finance, accountancy, business or law would be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written and spoken communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability in prioritising and monitoring progress of tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keen interest in both development of policies and operational work. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work well independently with good interpersonal skills to work as a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability in engaging and collaborating with stakeholders from within and beyond the organisation.
