What the role is:We are looking for a marketeer.
You will be part of NYP\'s Communication & Outreach Department, focusing on planning, managing and implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives to position NYP as the polytechnic of choice and increase mind share for the polytechnic in the Pre-employment Training (PET) and/or Continuing Education and Training (CET) markets, covering both online and offline. The primary PET target audiences are secondary school and ITE students, and parents of these students while the primary CET target audiences are adult learners (for B2C marketing) and companies (for B2B marketing).You should be familiar with creation of marketing collateral and digital marketing, and have a flair for writing, and crafting copies for marketing collateral, advertisements, different platforms, and target audiences. An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, and good sense of aesthetics will best describe you.Your marketing communications role will also see you involved in conducting research, data analyses to evaluate marketing efforts, and gain understanding of key target audiences. You should be comfortable with analysing data, and results of marketing efforts and be able to propose marketing tactics to better engage our target audiences.Besides these areas, you will have opportunities to develop and hone your skills in content creation, media relations, corporate communication, internal communications or stakeholder engagement.What you will be working on:Plan, manage and implement online and offline marketing campaigns and initiatives, including email marketing, to position NYP as the polytechnic of choice and increase mind share for the polytechnic in both the PET and/or CET markets.Liaise and work closely with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders to conceptualise and produce content and creatives such as (but not limited to) marketing collateral, digital ads, social media posts, online articles, electronic direct mails (EDM), videos, out-of-home (OOH) advertisements, etc.Coordinate and work closely with internal teams to manage digital channels like website, microsites, and social media in relation to respective marketing campaigns and/or events.Copywriting and editing the marketing content for different target audiences, mediums, and platforms.Conduct research, data analyses to evaluate marketing efforts, and gain understanding of key target audiences.Propose marketing tactics to better engage our target audiences based on research and data analyses.Put in place data tracking to measure the results of marketing campaigns.Monitor and analyse data to assess and optimise the effectiveness of marketing efforts.Propose marketing tactics for subsequent campaigns based on analyses.Manage campaign budgets and prepare reports for campaign reviews.Support with any other projects as assigned.What we are looking for:Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.At least 3 to 4 years of proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist or similar role.Experience in marketing collateral, digital advertising, social media, email, and/or content marketing.KnowledgeGood understanding of digital marketing, and how to leverage it to reach, convert, and engage the target audiences.Good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.Able to conduct marketing research, data analyses, and evaluate target audiences.Hands-on experience with web content management tools preferred but not essential.Familiarity with B2B and B2C marketing will be an advantage.Good understanding and familiarity with Singapore\'s education landscape is preferred but not essential.Good knowledge in marketing technology or MarTech will be an advantage.SkillsGood project management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Graphic design or visual graphic editing skills will be helpful.AttributesGood attention to detail and accuracy.Good sense of aesthetics.Creative, resourceful, and willing to learn.Able to multi-task and work with tight deadlines, and under pressure.Self-motivated, and a good team player.Ability to look at the overall big picture and see how the different types of digital marketing can work together to achieve the marketing objectives.Ability to think out-of-the box to make use of digital marketing to generate leads and build digital engagement.Ability to apply sound judgement, analytical and problem-solving skills to make reasoned, timely and consistent recommendations/decisions and facilitate effective problem resolution.About Nanyang Polytechnic:Nanyang Polytechnic is committed to providing quality education and training to prepare our graduates for life and work, equipping them to contribute to the technological, economic and social development of Singapore.
