The Senior Executive (Graduate Programmes) provides administrative support to the self-financing Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices (MSCP) programme at ADM. Reporting to the two Programme Co-Directors of the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices (MSCP) programme, the incumbent\xe2\x80\x99s role entails handling the full spectrum of tasks relating to student admissions and student administration which includes planning, execution and all administrative duties related to the MSCP courses.
Responsibilities:
Planning and executing student recruitment/outreach
Receiving and checking admission applications
Supporting the MSCP Committee in evaluating applications and making admission offers
Handling matriculation of new students, course registrations
Managing internships placements
Administering dissertation
Handling all matters related to the MSCP courses
Moderate all matters between faculty and students
Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor degree in any discipline
Candidates with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in admissions/operations/administrative roles in higher education institutions are preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and writing skills)
MS Office proficient, in particular intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point; propensity to learn new IT applications
Good planning and organisational skills
Able to take initiative, work independently and collaboratively within the team and at the different levels across the University
Able to work independently and as a team player.
