Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager to ensure timely development and implementation of quality, effective and relevant outreach and engagement programmes to achieve the department's goals and objectives. Responsibilities include working closely with different stakeholders to establish rewarding relationships, build up on resources and synergise efforts. To undertake other related tasks assigned and adopt creative thinking in generating concepts and solutions, in alignment with strategic directions to enhance the communities' offerings.

Job Responsibilities

  • To develop, manage and guide programmes to empower the youths to expand and embark on initiatives
  • To guide and mentor the growth and personal development of our members while seeking out opportunities for nEbO youths to excel in each of our 3 core key pillars
  • To be the relationship beacon and identify, nurture, and build rewarding connections and collaborations with new strategic stakeholders to strengthen community involvement while elevating brand presence and fostering strong ground support for better integration and management of resources and efforts while generating potential new business opportunities and recruitment
  • To keep up with trends and continuously engage in on-going market research, members' insights, and assessment of programmes to ensure effectiveness, relevancy and viability in the context of the community's needs, concerns and aspirations. Include facilitating and managing engagement processes, online platforms, and feedback channels to effectively bridge gaps between current and desired outcomes
  • To champion the voices of the youth through working closely with teammates and youth leaders to Identify key initiatives / messages
  • To follow individual work timeline, progress, and operational processes to ensure compliances to SOP and alignments to strategic directions and outcomes
  • To work closely with teammates to increase brand awareness through content curation.
  • To analyze, review reports for submission
  • To ensure that the department performs within the given budget and to achieve the desired ROI
  • To constantly improve department efficiency through formulation of SOPs and policies
  • Any other responsibilities / tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager and Head of Department
Qualifications and Other Requirements
  • Recognised University Degree
  • At least 1-2 years relevant working experience
  • Possess event management, community engagement, partnership relationship management, marketing and social media qualifications and experiences will be advantageous
  • Ability to work with youths and prior experience in community engagement a bonus
  • Good social networking and negotiation skills
  • Social media savvy with conceptual and analytical skills
  • Has high-level of professionalism, integrity, and tact
  • Ability to execute good judgement, work under pressure and a can-do spirit
  • Enterprising with ability to put ideas into action
  • A team player and adaptable to embrace changes
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Essential presentation and meticulous organizational capabilities.
  • Knowledge in MS Office
  • Skills, experience and familiarity with social media creation and platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok) will be a bonus
  • Skills/experience in video, photo editing or design software is also a bonus

Our staff visited beneficiaries such as Willing Hearts and Singapore Food Bank, to help prepare meals. Together with the Attractions, Resorts & Entertainment Union (AREU), our staff sewed stuffed toys made from socks, with proceeds going to Dignity Mama to enable young adults with disabilities to gain basic entrepreneurial skills and lead independent lives.
