Make an Impact by:

• S&P Technical Expertise: Must have a deep understanding of video production, post-production, and broadcast technology. Responsible for ensuring that the video editing equipment and software are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement as part of the S&P transformation efforts.
• Compliance: Review video content, including scenes, dialogue, and visuals, must comply with strict IMDA content regulations. This includes adhering to classification and censorship guidelines to ensure that content is suitable for the intended audience.
• Liaise with Content Management team communicating any concerns or recommendations for changes in the content.
• Content Ratings: Assigning content ratings to ensure that viewers are informed about the nature of the content, such as age-appropriateness and content warnings.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of reviews, recommendations, and actions taken to ensure accountability and compliance with established standards.
• Developing and implementing training programs: Develop and implement training programs to help the S&P team improve their skills and stay up to date on best practices.

Skills for Success:

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Strong understanding on the Code guidelines.
• Firm grasp of video file base industry standards, digital infrastructures (networks, servers, equipment), captioning, and other localization ancillaries.
• Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro. Must possess fundamental understanding of audio and video specs.
• Technically inclined, with a passion for media and interest in working in a broadcast environment.
