We are a hub of knowledge and innovation, attracting healthcare professionals who are passionate about pushing boundaries and making significant contributions to the field.About Department and Purpose of the PositionThe Senior Executive /Assistant Manager will be responsible for the management of Emergency Preparedness (EP) equipment. Additionally, he/she will help in coordinating hospital decontamination exercises and supporting the Exemplary Leader Development Program (ELDP).Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

  • Maintain In-hospital EP equipment and consumables required for CE and DO response (include medical equipment in ED, ICU, PACU, Wards, and Decontamination equipment and PPE).
  • Responsible for the budget and funding required response Area\'s equipment and consumables.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the equipment and procurement purchases and claims.
  • Prepare and coordinate the procurement of maintenance contracts.
  • Maintain the asset tracking for ownership, reporting, maintenance, and deployment to ensure hospital\'s logistic readiness are maintained.
  • Review hospital CE and DO equipment requirements.
  • Oversee storerooms for CE and DO assets that are not able to be deployed for BAU during peacetime.
  • Decommission end-of-life assets.
  • Prepare and provide quarterly logistics readiness reports to MOH under EPPF KPI reporting.
  • Maintain DSMC Field Medical Team (FMT) equipment and consumables.
  • Plan the budget and funding required for DSMC FMTs equipment and consumables.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the equipment and procurement purchases and claims.
  • Maintain the asset and consumable tracking to ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain VVIP Medical Team equipment and consumables.
  • Plan the budget and funding required for VVIP Medical Team equipment and consumables.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of the equipment and procurement purchases and claims.
  • Maintain the asset and consumable tracking to ensure operational readiness.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
  • Aid the department managers in the execution of Hospital decontamination exercise.
  • Aid the department managers in the conduct of Exemplary Leader Development Program (ELDP).
  • Perform secretariat duties as assigned by the department managers.
  • Aid in MOH tasking/activities.
Key Requirements
  • Basic degree from a recognised institution
  • Mid-career candidates with relevant experience and knowledge to provide a different perspective to the job issues and challenges.
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in logistics-related work. Prior experience in healthcare would be beneficial.
  • Analytical and with good communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Positive, motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Has initiative and able to work independently.
  • Service-oriented and task focused.
