JOB SCOPE Summary of Job Responsibilities The Occupational Hygiene (OH) Senior Executive is responsible for identifying, assessing, and advising on OH risks arising from the workplace or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the hazards, and implementing the measures. He/she is also responsible for preventing or reducing occupational health and environmental risks and improving the quality of the processes. He/she is expected to work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish his/her work. The Occupational Hygiene Officer is expected to be analytical, resourceful and has good teamwork and collaborative skills to solve problems.
Job Responsibilities

• Assist to develop Occupational Hygiene (OH) assessments, audits, and inspections for the workplace.
• Assist to develop and conduct OH trainings for Team Members.
• Analyze OH surveys, statistical data, and technical reports.
• Assist to maintain the implementation of OH system operations.
• Administer and support the various mandatory medical examinations programs.
• Handle OH related incidents or illness and follow-up with injury management plan.
• Assist to design appropriate strategies for health hazard prevention.
• Assist to initiate and carry out the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and activities to eliminate OH risks.
• Implement standard operating procedures for OH compliance requirements.
• Review and monitor effectiveness of implemented OH improvements actions.
• Implement targeted instances of OH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices.
• Identify OH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices.
• Evaluate impact of health hazards on employees\xe2\x80\x99 safety and prioritize issues based on severity.
• Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma.
• Must possess Specialist Diploma in Occupational Hygiene or below certificates that cover the OH modules.

• Registered WSH Officer is preferable.
• MOM certified audiometric technician will be an advantage.

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in clinical, manufacturing and/or hospitality field.
• At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 equivalent experience as Occupational Health Practitioner.
• Return-to-work coordinator experience will be an advantage.
• Clinical experience with musculoskeletal disorder management will be an advantage.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer experience, project management and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Effective in problem analysis and decision making \xe2\x80\x93 identifying problems, recognizing symptoms, root causes, making timely and sound decisions.
• Team player mentality with ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and challenges.
