Job Description


Job Purpose

Assist in the planning, compilation, and implementation of the Safety Quality Training work plan

Responsibilities

  • Conduct of S&Q training to POW staff - Adhoc
  • Conduct of safety briefing in accordance with the latest near-miss, actual accident/incident for lesson learn (Company or Nation-wide) and those trending from the industry
  • Plan and conduct Quality and Reliability audit/inspection as per schedule
  • Produce and circulate Safety Newsletters Monthly or as per reported
  • Incident/Accident (Company and Nation-wide)
  • Produce bulleting and notices as per required - Adhoc
  • Plan and organize annual SQT activities/events such as sharing sessions
  • Produce SQT report/presentation such as quality & reliability/safety inspection report and lesson learnt presentation or trending presentation cum report
  • Screen for update in local and international Acts, Regulations and Code-of-
  • Practice and internal policy related to SQT
  • Attend SQT Divisional and Department levels safety/Quality meeting to update on Safety/Quality matters and Inspection findings
  • Conduct S&Q orientation program to visitors/guests/fresh staff of POW CoE or accompany such Visitors/Guests - Adhoc
  • Attend SQT external event/course and SQT training for upgrade/update of SQT knowledge (company or nation-wide)
  • Upkeep SQT document and records
  • Conduct Quarterly documentation audit of key-register/document and other audits on behalf PF POW based on Key Policy of SSQ
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Degree/Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety
  • Registered Workplace and Health Officer with at least three years of relevant working experience
  • Working Hours:
  • Normal Office Hours
  • Weekly Night Inspection/Audit
  • Ad-hoc investigation (as assigned/required) in night/PH/Off Day
Skills
  • Preference given to candidate with Fire Safety Manager certificate
  • Computer knowledge - Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency to read and write in English
