What the role is:You will join AGD\'s Salaries and Pensions Team and support the team in the system operations for Government\'s payroll, pensions, claims and medical billing within the Government HR and Payroll (HRP) system.What you will be working on:You will be responsible for the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with the HRP vendor to ensure smooth running of the central payroll, claims, pensions and medical billing functions of the Human Resource and Payroll System \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting the team in system enhancements, implementation of policy changes and in troubleshooting issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with partner agencies and shared services providers to ensure accurate and timely payments to civil servants, pensioners and other stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Participating in projects and new initiatives in HRP to improve service delivery to end users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with multiple module/track leads of partner agencies of the HRP system to support system remediation and enhancements (including changes due to policy changes) \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing Pension hotline and helpdesk queries \xe2\x80\xa2 Performing reviews to strengthen the financial controls, resilience and efficiency of the central payroll, pensions, claims and medical billing processes, including the use of data analytics to identify areas of control gaps and improvements neededWhat we are looking for:Requirements Functional/Technical Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Diploma in Accounting, Business, IT, Finance or related disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in managing payroll systems and/or external stakeholders (e.g. customers) will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of data analytics would be an advantage Generic Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work in a fast paced, multi-stakeholder and team setting \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical, problem solving and good communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and resourceful \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive team player with the ability to manage relationships and work well within AGD team and with key stakeholders from different public agencies You will be notified whether you have been shortlisted within 4 weeks from the closing date of this job posting.About Accountant-General\'s Department:The Accountant-General\'s Department (AGD) plays an important role in making Singapore a better place through Finance.
