Job Description
:
As a motor claim surveyor, you will be reporting to the Head of the Legal and Survey Unit.
You will handle all surveys assigned to you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspect, verify and confirm the extent and consistency of damage of the subject of claim.
- Negotiate and communicate the scope and costs of repairs to the claimant or the repairer, within your DAL.
- Prepare and submit interim and/or final report to support your recommendation.
- Alert the HOU/HOS of any abnormity found in the course of survey.
- Undertake any assignments or projects given to you by your Head of Unit, Head of Section or Head of Department.
- GCE \xe2\x80\x9cO\xe2\x80\x9d Level or Diploma or Nitec 2 in Motor mechanic.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the motor industry in a similar capacity.
- Certificate in General Insurance (CGI)
- Knowledge of using IT devices and software in the course of work .
- Able to communicate in English and Mandarin with the repairers.
- Travel to the location to conduct your assignments using your own vehicle.
