What the role is:Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Finance (Fixed Assets & Grant Management)What you will be working on:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Fixed Assets Perform timely month-end and year-end closing of fixed asset register. Prepare deferred capital grants and amortisation of deferred capital grants journals. Responsible for fixed asset monthly audit schedules and reconciliation of fixed asset register to General ledger. Provide advice and guidance to departments on fixed asset policies and procedures. Ensure timely and accurate recording of fixed assets, including additions, transfers, disposals/retirements, and construction in progress. Plan and conduct annual asset verification exercise and user briefing/training. Lead system implementation projects and improvement initiatives. Liaise with internal and external auditors. Review asset write-off forms to ensure accuracy and compliance to Financial Policies and Procedures. Review and align fixed asset policies and procedures to Government Instruction Manual or accounting standards where appropriate. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Grant Management Administer grants from Parent Ministry as well as programmes/project funding from different agencies. These include the submission of claims, tracking of budget and utilisation, ensuring usage of grants according for terms and conditions. Prepare periodic grant claim submissions and financial reports and analysis according to both external and internal requirements. Liaise with relevant government authorities and internal stakeholders on grant related issues. Liaise with auditors for grant certification and audit according to funding requirements. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.What we are looking for:JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualification in Accounting or related accounting qualifications. At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in MS Office applications. Independent, meticulous, and resourceful with positive work attitude. Resilient team player who can manage competing priorities and deadlines. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Passionate to drive changes to enhance effectiveness.
