Support the Executive Director, Centre for Population Health in:
Synthesis of information gathered through literature review, secondary data collection and other research methods as relevant, including but not limited to the topic of population health, and on occasions, specific chronic diseases, e.g. cancer.
Based on the information collated, working with the Executive Director on the development of presentation slides, speeches, academic papers and other materials.
Qualifications
Degree in sciences (preferred), or alternatively in business administration / management (with interest to learn a new field). Familiarity with the field of sciences especially Public Health / Life Sciences will be beneficial.
Possess minimally 2 years of working experience in administrative role. Prior research experience e.g. writing scientific manuscripts / reports is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical capabilities; able to collate reliable, scientific information (including source verification) and process data; takes initiative and possesses good problem-solving skills.
Studious and meticulous. Familiar with and skillful at Microsoft PowerPoint is particularly favoured.
Able to multitask, handle ambiguity and pressure, and is comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and maintaining effective working relationships with teams.
