Job Description


Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate the planning, design, implementation and tracking of sustainable solutions for the development and operations of the Mandai Precinct, in line with Mandai\'s Environmental Sustainability Strategy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for NEA\'s Mandatory Packaging Submission. This includes compiling packaging data across departments and ensuring timely and accurate submission in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Mandai\'s Waste Management Roadmap, contributing to the goal of achieving a zero-waste Mandai. Track waste data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare monthly progress reports on waste management initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of waste valorisation initiatives such as sustainable animal feed production and animal dung valorisation projects. Ensure that these projects align with broader sustainability and circular economy goals.
  • Play a key role in developing and implementing Mandai\'s Sustainable Procurement Roadmap. This includes developing procurement strategies for specific sub-categories (e.g., animal feed), and working closely with Procurement and Business Units to ensure successful execution and future alignment with sustainability objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders to embed sustainability principles across the organisation and operations.
  • Perform other sustainability-related duties as assigned to support Mandai\'s long-term environmental objectives.
Requirements:\xc2\xb7 A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Resource Management or any related fields\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of relevant experience in environmental reporting, waste management, sustainable procurement, or circular projects is highly desirable\xc2\xb7 Fresh graduates may be considered, depending on suitability of qualifications and experience.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with Mandatory packaging submission is appreciated\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with data analysis and tracking KPIs related to environmental performance (waste reduction, energy efficiency, etc.).\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in tools for environmental data management, such as life cycle analysis software, sustainability reporting platforms, and Excel for reporting purposes is appreciated.\xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills for collaborating with different business units and external contractors.\xc2\xb7 Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to driving waste reduction and sustainable procurement initiatives\xc2\xb7 Embrace a \xe2\x80\x9ccan-do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude, with a willingness and resourcefulness to tackle new challengesSpecialization : 0Education
