As the Senior Manager, Sustainability, you will develop the Go-to-Market strategy and execution for our Sustainability and ESG services and offerings across APAC. You will understand business challenges faced by client executives in leading organizations in order to design solutions that effectively support clients\' sustainability transformation journey - from developing Sustainability and ESG strategies, to decarbonization roadmaps through to supporting the implementation of solutions and capability development.You will have a strategic and client facing engagement and delivery role across the consulting value chain leading and or supporting business development efforts, project execution and account development.You will be a regional thought leader in Sustainability, responsible to help shape and drive our strategy in collaboration with our regional APAC Industry Teams cluster leads. In addition, you will collaborate with the existing Global Sustainability and ESG advisory teams. You will contribute to build a local sustainability team in line with the revenue growth and drive client impact across our priority industries in the wider APAC region.At the highest level, you will have the chance to:

You will be responsible to:

• Report directly to APAC leadership and accountable to develop and lead the sustainability consulting business;
• Develop go-to-market strategy to support national/regional business growth in collaboration with the Global industry teams;
• Focus on supporting the core regional APAC Industry Teams: Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Mining & Metals, Consumer Products, Power & Utilities and Private Equity;
• Collaborate closely with the global sustainability practice contributing to thought leadership, offerings and methodologies bringing global best practices into the APAC market and clients;
• Working with the APAC Industry Teams, leading sustainability business development activities providing expert support in the development of client proposals;
• Provide expert advisory support of sustainability in consulting business assessment and implementation engagements;
• Be a trusted advisor with senior client executives and maintain relationships in alignment with the account team to deepen and expand relationships;
• Participate and contribute to internal and external functional and/or industry networks with the aim of developing new business working with the global Marketing and the Industry Teams;
• You will have a client delivery chargeability target and a business development target.

You\'re most likely a Principal or Director in a professional services organisation, and you have a pretty impressive track record in selling sustainability or ESG services. You\'re comfortable with developing industry practices and take long-term client relationships seriously. You\'re a great listener-allowing you to develop offers and solutions that meet each client\'s unique needs. And you\'re comfortable in the C-suite, engaging as a peer with board members, investment teams and portfolio company leaders.Beyond that, be yourself. At dss+ we embrace and celebrate diversity. • Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in a business-related major (i.e. Management or Finance) or Science / Engineering with MBA or MS preferred;
• Technical knowledge and experience in supporting clients on sustainability transformational journeys including setting strategies, developing operational roadmaps, integrating into business units and functions and supporting implementation activities;
• Strong understanding of, and conversant with clients across sustainability and ESG standards, tools, methodologies as applied in APAC regionally in the context of regulation, competitive landscape, value chains and industry challenges and trends;
• Seasoned professional with 20+ years\' experience and at least 10 years of these in consulting with strengths in building and maintaining trusted client relationships;
• Deep experience in one or more of our priority APAC Industries: Mining & Metals, Chemicals, Oil, Gas & New Energies. With desired familiarity in Private Equity and Ag, Food & Beverage bringing real working knowledge and expertise;
• Familiarity with climate change risks and opportunities; experience with climate risk assessments, scenario analysis, and/or transition finance;
• Solid technical and business / commercial acumen;
• Effective leadership skills to lead dss+ internal teams and client executives;
• Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior client executive levels with demonstrated history of account revenue growth;
• Previous, demonstrable Business Development experience;
• Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Visio, Word, Advanced Excel, Access);
• Experience with project management software (Asana, JIRA, Confluence, or similar);
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and team-working attitude to be able to work in with fast-paced, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams;
• A big plus: An established presence and network in sustainability and ESG in APAC.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English. Other languages are a bonus.
