About the role

• Maintenance of plant facilities equipment: Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, ACMV, Building & Grounds, Utilities, Lift, Water system (process/Domestic), cooling towers, substation. Acting as an Energy champion, providing ideas and actions to reduce energy, water, and gas consumption and CO2 emission. Support maintenance operations (Budget, CAPEX, Preventive maintenance) and control spare parts warehouse.

Key responsibilities include

• Oversee the Maintenance operations and requirements for facilities installations; Chillers, Boilers, Air Compressors, ACMV, Building & Grounds, Utilities, Lift, Water system (Process / Domestic), Cooling Towers, and Substation. Evaluation of the detailed scope and frequency of maintenance required thereafter update the job plan; sequence; master schedule planning of maintenance schedule in the Computerized Maintenance & Management system (Maximo)
• To update and maintain documentation of the facilities, utilities installations\' user manual; single lines, and drawings. Periodically back up of schematic drawings and data.
• Identify critical spares required; procure and ensure adequate spares are available for replacement. Targeting reducing the impact of downtime.
• Raise Works Orders / Purchase requisition, keep track and monitoring of the available spare inventories as well as the progress of PM/EM/CM Work in the Maximo system.
• Participate in monitoring and controlling the maintenance budget expenditure
• Acting as Energy Champion reducing energy/gas and water consumption and CO2 emission.

About you

• ITE / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering preferable in a technical field (Food industrial, M&E construction, Manufacturing sector)
• The Energy Champion diploma (NEA) is an added advantage
• The ability to use AutoCAD is an added advantage
• A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience. Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC. Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff support and team building.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering, knowledge in Preventive maintenance programming for facilities in a manufacturing environment; preferably with food manufacturing experience.
• Good technical knowledge in M&E systems; troubleshooting experience in Chillers, Boilers, Air compressors, ACMV, facilities, and utilities. Experience in management of vendors/contractors for installation/ servicing works
