Your Career

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Business Partner with exceptional business acumen to join our JAPAC Finance organization. This position will support key business Areas of Australia New Zealand (ANZ) and India to achieve scalable growth. Through objective advice backed by data driven insight, the ideal candidate will be a catalyst for positive change. You will need to embrace corporate strategy, translate theater priorities and define tactical execution to address the needs of a diverse set of internal stakeholders.

Your Impact

• Provide Senior Leadership robust financial advice to drive balanced decision making. Target ambitious growth by leveraging company best practice and external market intelligence for benchmarking. Primary focus will be ANZ and India, with oversight support for Japan.
• Ensure decisions are guided by resource availability and align to objectives, strategies and priorities set.
• Engage in deal discussions to shape outcomes that meet the needs of our customers and Palo Alto Networks.
• Ensure ongoing accountability of the team with performance management reporting that monitors progress towards goals.
• Navigate matrix organization for efficient and effective outcomes.
• Be a key point of contact for the Area forecast, budgeting and long term planning efforts.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in the field whilst ensuring we meet stakeholder and policy requirements.
• Coach and mentor support functions across finance and operations in the theater and corporate towards common goals and create collaborative working relationships.
• Support projects that drive automated solutions for exceptional customer experience for Sales, Deals Desk, Revenue, Finance and Legal.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 8+ years of experience working in a tech environment in a financial or a sales operations role.
• Leadership qualities with demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units.
• Ability to work independently and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing objectives.
• Commercial acumen developed through ongoing engagement with sales and marketing teams.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including experience creating presentations for senior leaders.
• Experience with data and financial analysis, strong ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition, IFRS and international taxation.
• Intermediate/Advanced skills with SalesForce.com and MS-Excel or Google Sheets are highly recommended.
