Job Title: Senior Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)Location: SingaporeThe Opportunity:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive to join our finance team. As an Accounts Payable Executive, you will be entrusted with various financial tasks, including month-end closing process, bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, liaising with banking institutions, fixed asset management and cashflow reporting. The Accounts Payable Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for month end closing processes, including expense posting, preparing balance sheet schedules, and generating analysis reports as required.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements, identifying and working with the team to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and reconcile monthly intercompany balance, working closely with counterparties to address and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Maintain fixed asset records, including tracking of capitalization, disposals and depreciation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with banks, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare and analyze projected cashflow to facilitate effective financial planning and budgeting.
  • Monitor actual cash inflows and outflows to provide insights into the company\'s cash position.
  • Process payments to vendors and intercompany entities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to resolve any queries or issues.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role with 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Prior experience with SAP accounting software is advantageous.
