The Role

As a Senior Finance Manager at Refract Technologies, all financial operations and accounting matters across our multiple subsidiaries will fall under your purview. You\'ll be charged with working closely with the management team to develop and implement protocol, processes and strategy - as well as provide financial insight and analysis to assist them in making informed business decisions.

Most importantly, you\'ll manage the Finance Team - acting a bridge between them and the Chief Financial Officer, and ensure that operations are financially compliant and smooth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight on day-to-day and month end financial/accounting operations across the group.
• Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs and driving operational efficiencies.
• Function as the primary interface between internal parties, stakeholders and management for the Finance Team, proposing solutions that are then translated to actionable steps for the team.
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, balance sheet activities, etc.

• Execute accurate reporting such as monthly and quarterly management reporting, to analyse options and make financial recommendations.
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership.
• Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
• Manage the company\'s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory financial requirements and accounting policies by constantly keeping up to date with existing and new legislation.
• Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
• Strengthening current internal control and process improvement
• Act as the intermediary between the Finance Team and the Chief Financial Officer

• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Commercial and business acumen
• An excellent written and verbal communicator, who can clearly articulate ideas and information to stakeholders both at a highly technical and layman level.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet task deadlines.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or Accounting;
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Experience using accounting software such as SAP or XERO

• Experience working in a gaming or technology industry
• CPA certification
