Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the budgeting process, including the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and variance analysis. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate financial projections and alignment with strategic goals.

3. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and recommend appropriate actions to optimize financial performance.

4. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with external audit firms to ensure timely completion of audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Implement and maintain robust internal control systems.

5. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and future investments. Optimize working capital, minimize financial risks, and maximize returns on surplus funds.

6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, business unit leaders, and finance team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and achieve financial objectives.

7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team. Foster a high-performance culture, develop talent, and promote continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.

2. Big 4 Audit Experience: Strong background in auditing gained from a reputable Big 4 accounting firm is essential.

3. Real Estate Expertise: Significant experience in the real estate industry is required. Experience in logistics real estate or life science real estate would be advantageous.

4. Financial Management: Proven track record in financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to the real estate industry in Singapore.

6. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders, and influence decision-making at senior levels.

7. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

8. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in financial management systems and software, including ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
