Job Description


As an Senior Finance Officer (Statistics), you are primarily responsible in the collection and compilation of statistical information on mail, parcel, and other postal traffic for submission to the relevant departments and Business unit for the necessary reporting.

  • Involved in the collection and compilation of statistical information on mail, parcel and other postal traffic for submission to the GL and individual Business unit for the monthly reporting
  • Compile the traffic and revenue of the Direct mail posted and mail posted by Government & Business and submitted to Mail Business for monthly reporting
  • Compare domestic mail posted by public mail, direct mail, government mail and business mail for current month actual against current month budget, last year same month actual and year-to-date current month against last actual year-to-date
  • Assist to prepare submissions to relevant Government establishments
  • Arrange for statistical exercises to be carried out on an annual basis
  • Assist to prepare the test script for the Sapphire Disaster Recovery Exercise and use the test script to perform the user acceptance test
  • Assist Manager to review, improve work processes and implement controls (via Systems and Procedures) within Statistics team
  • Any other duties as directed.

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant Corporate Finance and/ or Statistics work experience
