• Handles period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, year-end). Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of period-end closing in compliance with local & Group requirements.
• Provide support in financial/management reporting, including preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports, tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/SFRS and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Review and provide direction to team with regards to account reconciliation of sub ledgers to general ledger and other balance sheet reconciliations such as banks/inventory etc for completeness and accuracy and follow-up on action items.
• Support in reviewing internal control in compliance with Group policies and business process to identify area for improvement.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors as well as other outside parties as required.
• Prepare and submit all required tax filings and ensure compliance with all tax laws.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and other regulatory requirements.
• Working Capital Management \xe2\x80\x93 Develop and implement effective working capital management strategies to ensure optimal liquidity and cash flow within the organization. Monitor and analyse working capital metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Cashflow Reporting & Forecasting
• Assists with Annual Budgeting process & Rolling Forecasting
• Assists with Month-End Management Reporting
• Participate in ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in multiple software packages and flexibility to learn new packages. Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is preferred and financial reporting tools is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work well independently as well as with all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated, team oriented, resourceful and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Meticulous with good numerical and analytical skills.
