Job Description

We are seeking passionate individuals to be part of a dynamic team under the specialised area of Questioned Documents and Digital Video/ Image Analysis (QDDVA) that strives for continuous improvements and innovation to support forensic investigations.

• Provide quality and efficient forensic science services for casework in the area of handwriting, documents, and image analysis in both physical and digital format.
• Conduct a wide range of analytical procedures, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide expert testimony in court for the administration of justice.
• Provide expert consultation services to the law enforcement agencies, lawyers and others in the area of handwriting, documents, and image analysis.
• Stay informed of the latest research to determine the best methods for analysing evidence.
• Develop and implement significant improvements to methodology, and resolve any identified problems.
• Maintain quality system documentation.

• Relevant background in Chemistry, Material Science or related physical science, with the following relevant knowledge/skills in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Digital Forensics, Information Technology, or Mathematics; or a combination of relevant academic qualification, work experience, or digital forensics/IT certification.
• Highly motivated individual with a strong desire to protect public health and safety.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Able to work independently to prioritise and identify meaningful objectives and complete assignments in a timely matter, while maintaining a good sense of team spirit.
• Meticulous personality with excellent written and spoken English.
• Extensive oral presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Comfortable with using advanced computer systems and scientific equipment.
