Senior Fund Finance Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Singapore

Role Summary:

Support the fund accounting capability by applying international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and other generally accepted accounting principles as applicable across the Asia Pacific investment platform and ensure financial reporting, investor reporting, cash management and capital transactions are properly recorded and timely delivered.

Role Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with fund administrators to review the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and compliance with fund partnership agreements.
• Review the investment entities\xe2\x80\x99 standalone and/or consolidated financials, including the supporting workpapers and reconciliations.
• Perform budget to actual variance analysis of the financials.
• Assist in annual budgets.
• Handle audit and tax and ensuring timely completion per the partnership documents and statutory filing deadlines.
• Prepare analysis and support schedules to management discussion and investors\xe2\x80\x99 queries.
• Prepare and reviewing the quarterly investor reports, partner capital statements and ad hoc investor reporting.
• Prepare debt compliance certificates and lender reporting.
• Know-how to post journal entries, run reports for analytics as well as reporting and investment management modules in Yardi.
• Monitor the cash position of the portfolios and ensure cash needs are met (including but not limited to working capital, debt servicing or other compliance requirements).
• Analyze the cash positions and ensure capital calls and distributions are planned appropriately to meet the needs of the fund and its investors.
• Timely issuance of capital call and distribution notices and monitoring receipts of funds per the notices\xe2\x80\x99 value dates.
• Monitor loan covenants and debt servicing dues including facility drawdowns and repayments, interest and commitment fees payments.
• Prepare subline facility\xe2\x80\x99s drawdown and repayment requests.
• Monitor capital calls and subline fundings and timely downstream of funds flow within the Fund investment structure to facilitate deals\xe2\x80\x99 acquisitions.
• Monitor timely upstream of distributions flow within the Fund investment structure and to the Limited Partners.
• Accounts payable and receivable management and ensure adherence to governance and
• approval mandate.
• Work with fund administrators and banks on bank accounts opening and ensure timely update on any change in authorization signatories and preparers\xe2\x80\x99 mandate.

• Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant real estate investment accounting experience.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and/or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Solid hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts and preparation of audit financial statements.
• Understanding of taxes and fund investment structures.
• Experience in budgeting and cash flow forecasting as well as consolidation.
• Proficiency in accounting system, experience with Yardi (preferred).
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Team worker and positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude with desire to learn, train and develop in the role.
• Good attention to detail, methodical and takes accountability for work.
• Able to adapt in fast paced environment and work under pressure.
• Multi-tasking is essential, using initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines.
