Compile information to analyse Group P&L and B/S. Be part of the key liaison with the external and internal auditors and manage audit accordingly As a member of the Group accounting centre of excellence team, assist to roll out accounting guidance to financial accounting teams in HQ and overseas markets. Business partner the management accounting / FP&A team on accounting matters. Assist in various group level initiatives: Ad-hoc review on controls to ensure that they are adequate and in compliance with related polices Assist in system implementation project, including reviewing of group chart of accounts and intercompany eliminations Assist in process enhancement projects Align and update the Group's accounting policies, ensuring compliance with SFRS and any new accounting standards. The role is a sole contributor and reports to the Senior Finance Manager. Any ad-hoc assignments and projects as and when required Requirements: Accounting Degree / ACCA or equivalent and able to interpret and apply FRS for new situations. Minimum of 7 years of experience looking at controls, accounting and handling statutory consolidation, with the initial few years in audit. Strong in handling excel spreadsheets. Comfortable with doing liaising and compilation work. Meticulous / Detailed. Good people and communication skills. Knowledge on group consolidation software is a plus. Knowledge on transfer pricing and SAP is a plus. Knowledge on RPA Able to commit to long working hours during quarterly and year-end peak periods.
