Responsibilities:

Set-up drill machines with proper tooling.
Edit existing CNC programs on Gun drilling machines.
Expect gun barrels or similar parts.
Maintain the order and cleanliness of production work areas.
Participate in and contribute to process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

Experience of gundrilling is essential, either manual or CNC.
Experience with gundrills & BTA tooling required
It is essential that you have worked within a machine shop environment with an extensive knowledge of the gundrilling techniques and processes.
Familiar with Fanuc CNC controls would be an advantage.
Experienced in using gauging and measurement equipment required for verification including Bore Micrometers (Bowers / Diatest)
Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated
