Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Set-up drill machines with proper tooling.
- Edit existing CNC programs on Gun drilling machines.
- Expect gun barrels or similar parts.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of production work areas.
- Participate in and contribute to process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Experience of gundrilling is essential, either manual or CNC.
- Experience with gundrills & BTA tooling required
- It is essential that you have worked within a machine shop environment with an extensive knowledge of the gundrilling techniques and processes.
- Familiar with Fanuc CNC controls would be an advantage.
- Experienced in using gauging and measurement equipment required for verification including Bore Micrometers (Bowers / Diatest)
- Have a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated
