Job Description


What the role is:You will join a team in designing and implementing private outpatient healthcare financing policies that seek to ensure affordability for patients, while maintaining sustainability of our healthcare system. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:The work involves: Conducting detailed analysis of patient profiles and needs, healthcare costs, adequacy of subvention and subsidy policies, monitoring of fees to effectively shape the way care is delivered and how and where patients seek care. Handling analysis of costing, utilisation, and billing datasets to strengthen policymaking. Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end-to-end process from developing and reviewing policies, to designing the processes and ensuring smooth implementation of changes through system optimisation, to support the integrity of our financing schemes. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop, review and implement financing policies that enable Singapore's Healthier SG strategy.What we are looking for:Key Competencies Require Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities.
