With primary focus in Singapore and Southeast Asia, this role will ensure clear and effective communication at all levels of management and formulate HR operational excellence across the organisation to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives.

This is a business-facing role and execution-oriented reporting through the Managing Director of Southeast Asia.

Leading a team of HR practitioners for the full spectrum of HR needs (employee and labour relations, employee communications, talent acquisition, rewards, payroll, workforce planning, safety processes and employment documentation), he or she will provide day-to-day human resources support and counsel to countries including: Singapore (Corporate & Manufacturing), Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Australia.

You will have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise, guide and influence at varying levels within the business, whilst assessing and advising on any commercial risks.

\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • \xe2\x80\x8bAssist the Managing Director SEA in developing an overall long-term HR strategy in line with vision, mission and strategic direction of the organisation, with a focus on Corporate Singapore and Southeast Asia
  • \xe2\x80\x8bTo be a strong and effective HR business partner supporting and enabling the organisation for Singapore (Commercial, Corporate & Manufacturing) and Southeast Asia and to contribute effectively to strategic decision making for the business in the region
  • \xe2\x80\x8bWork proactively with the leadership and senior leaders to agree consistent processes and hands-on solutions that provide the business with seamless HR support and advice from initial query through to conclusion at all our sites in the SEA region
  • \xe2\x80\x8bHelp to oversee core HR functions/processes such as recruitment and selection, administration, training and development, compensation & benefits, payroll, performance management and workforce planning in the SEA region
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 12 years\' experience in Human Resources leadership roles preferably in industrial organisations with a strong presence in Southeast Asia
  • \xe2\x80\x8bGood management skills with ability to handle multiple key stakeholders and varied employee pool
  • \xe2\x80\x8bStrong communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge of regional HR practices and processes
  • \xe2\x80\x8bProven experience within an Employee Relations role in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of managing medium-high risk ER cases to conclusion
  • Good understanding and application of employment legislation in Southeast Asia
