Ensure plant process safety updates and manage MHI safety case, leading safety case-related items according to MHI regulations.
Oversee and manage the budget and expenditure for ESH, including the approval of consumables and equipment.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements, supporting major shutdown activities.
Arrange and monitor annual assessments (stacks, IHM, noise assessments) and health assessments for employees.
Lead EAI and risk assessment programs for all process-related modifications, developing and updating related procedures/SOPs.
Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders on ESH matters, including incident investigation and non-conformance reporting to authorities.
The Talent
Degree in ESH, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
Certified in Level C WSH competency, confined space assessor, and WAH assessor.
Certified in Biz Safe Level 2.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
Experience liaising with government authorities.
Knowledgeable in ISO 45000, SS651, and 14000 standards, and capable of conducting risk and EAI assessments and leading accident investigations.
