Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia, employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases, equipment, services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.

The Senior Instrument & Control Engineer provides expert support to operations, optimizing maintenance and conducting root-cause analysis.You will need to ensure deployment of IMS and Group Standards and lead the Industrial Program. You are expected to share knowledge with peers, update Group Standards, and offer operational control and instrumentation expertise.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Safety and Industrial Management System

Ensure that IMS is well deployed in your field of expertise

Ensure specifically that EIS Safety Protection Loops are well maintained, tested and available

Develop technical expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation and DCS fields

Contribute in detecting/selecting future Technical Community Leader members

Participate to the Asia Pacific Community of Practice

Improve site teams Training & Qualification program in your field of expertise

Provide support to operations

Ensure appropriate Root-Cause Analysis and capitalization

Support preparation of Turn-Around and provide expertise to procurement team when specific negotiation or relations with suppliers

Improve Methods of Statement for maintenance of instrumentation and DCS

Support deployment of Yokogawa DCS TCN/BE simulator, by challenging DCS modeling

Develop Automation Logic and Alarm Management Programs to enhance Operations excellence

Knowledge Sharing

Set technical procedures, and SOP development

Manage leaders Instrument & Controls workshops

Provide DCS/PLC Training to the team

Manage Industrial Program deployment and Data Acquisition Project Implementation

Detect ways of improvement, based on capitalization, root-cause analysis, Group Standards, technology intelligence

Liaise with project managers and sites to deploy the program appropriately

To take up role of Project Manager of Data Acquisition Project

Cyber Security Officer

Managing the IIS Security action plan

Ensuring third-party compliance with this document and acceptable use of policies

Performing audits once every three years to check compliance

Are you a MATCH?

Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering is preferred.

Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience Air Separation Unit process and/or related industry with oil & gas/chemical processes.

Familiarity with Yokogawa programming will be an added advantage.

Exhibit good interpersonal skills.

Possess exceptional problem-solving skills.
