As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will do detailed engineering design, including calculations and analysis in alignment with project requirements. You will be instrumental in elevating exciting projects to unprecedented levels of success and excellence.

The Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement project/job specifications
• Review engineering documents for both government submission and construction purposes
• Conduct basic and detailed engineering design, including calculations and analysis in alignment with project requirements
• Prepare and update material take-off for project procurement and bid proposals
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for tender proposals
• Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines to address new process requirements, conduct design interference checks, and manage design changes
• Adhere to ISO, client, and International Standards quality requirements during project execution
• Provide instruction, supervision, management, and monitoring of Designers throughout the work process
• Offer technical assistance to the construction team
• Attend site checks and verifications
• Follow established drawing checking procedures
• Perform electrical calculations for cable sizing, system studies, etc.
• Proactively contribute to creating a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with HSE in-house rules at all times
• Consider HSE aspects when planning and executing tasks to eliminate and reduce hazards, aspects, and risks

The Requirements:

• Preferably a degree holder in Electrical Engineering
• Ideally, with 8 years of relevant working experience in designing plants for projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical Industries
• Well-versed in local and international codes and standards related to the field
• Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office, CAD Drafting, and Electrical design software, with hands-on experience
