Maintains and ensures documentation, both written and electronic, is accurate, complete and factual as required by policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Executes test protocols developed by self or others (Reliability and/or Engineers) in support of the qualification of new and existing equipment
Prepares, reviews and tests calibration and configuration reports for equipment and calibration record setup to ensure equipment calibration requirements are completely and properly documented in the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM)
Reviews and provide final approval (closing) on technician work orders
Interpret and use appropriate industry codes, standards and regulations (CSA, ISA, etc)
Compliance with all company safety and environmental policies associated with this job description
Consult OEM manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures
Willing to work in rotating shift
Work location mostly inside jurong island
Dirty room environment
Select and use pneumatic, electrical and / or electronic test equipment to diagnose faults in safe and proper manner
Communicate and work with operators/process engineers on process problems
Train, coach and mentor apprentices in development of trade competencies
Qualification:
2-year associate degree in automotive related field or equivalent experience
Associate’s degree in Instrumentation
The ability to perform routine maintenance of electronic and control equipment and recommend remedial maintenance as required
Able to perform the routine testing and logging of pipeline safety checks as required by D.O.T
Possess basic computer literacy skills utilizing MS Office Suite, Internet Explorer
Able to interpret, install and troubleshoot instrumentation in accordance with basic P&IDs and electrical/electronic schematics, and make modifications/corrections to the noted schematic
