Job Summary:
The person will be responsible to manage, plan, oversee hardware, software and network of the companyby providing the technical support to the operation and business units when is needed. This comprisesinstalling and upgrading software, enhancing security system, handling any IT projects and end-to-endnetwork support throughout the organizations.
Key job responsibilities include:
Setup, configure, support and maintain various hardware(PC/laptop/server), operating systems (Microsoft windows10, MacOS, VMs), networks (LAN/WAN), PABX andprinters (Fuji Xerox, Konica, HP,etc)
Manage and oversee the communication and liaison withmultiple stakeholders in the company and externally.
To provide end user support & troubleshooting thenetwork, hardware, and software issues
Respond promptly to incident, investigate, and provideresolutions of incidents escalated via email, inbound callor onsite.
Maintain up-to-date IT inventory, software licensingcontrol and documentation of systems and procedures.
Able to provide support after office-hour on standby(Weekends & Public Holidays)
Undertake ad-hoc assignments or duties assigned bysuperior when required.
Well-adapt with new and current IT technologies
Liaise with IT vendors to ensure timely quality servicedelivery
Build a good communication and relationship with thestakeholders and Business Units
Ensure that policies are well-adhered and maintainedeffectively
Assist in managing and maintain documentationpreparation for IT procedures in accordance to IT standardrequirements
Analyses business process and provide recommendationsfor improvement
Proactively collaborate with cross-functional departmentfor better alignment and direction
Act as a point of contact when is required during anyescalation from the BUs
Requirements:
Computer Science, Engineering (Computer or IT related), IT or equivalent
Min 4 years working in IT industry, especially in internal IT Support
Technicalexperience with Windows, MacOS, LAN, WAN, Printers, Routers, PABX, CCTV
Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good team player and keen learner to grow with company.
Have own transport and willing to travel.
Able to communicate in English
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have a pleasant personality and willing to help others.
Flexible and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
