About the Role



As a

Key Account Manager

, you will be responsible for building and nurturing long-term relationships with major clients to ensure retention and sustainable growth. You will develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, needs, and challenges, and work closely with them to provide tailored solutions that add value.


This role requires a proactive approach to client engagement -- resolving issues, anticipating future needs, and identifying opportunities for collaboration. The top three key priorities for success in this role include maintaining a

Main Responsibilities



Develop and manage a portfolio of high-value global and regional key accounts. Design and implement long-term strategies to drive client retention, satisfaction, and business growth. Understand client needs and requirements, and resolve issues promptly to build trust and loyalty. Foster strong, long-term professional relationships with clients to create mutually beneficial partnerships. Propose and implement solutions to client challenges within agreed timelines. Protect existing business relationships and minimize client churn to competitors. Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and smooth collaboration. Identify high-value clients and develop targeted strategies to strengthen partnerships. Prepare timely and accurate reports, including CRM updates and monthly account reviews. Serve as the key facilitator for managing

Accounts Receivables

for assigned accounts.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Freight Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of

3-5 years' experience

in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with exposure to sales and business development. Proven experience in handling conglomerate accounts -- experience in

Healthcare, Medical Devices, Semiconductor, or Electronics

industries will be highly regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident, outgoing, and responsive. Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated organizational, account management, and client relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and in a team. Passionate about sales, with strong teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. Candidates with relevant managerial experience may be considered for a
