The principal role of this position is to organize and carry out tasks related to quality control of raw material, finished products and analytical service requests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting of any quality and safety issues in the laboratory
• Co-ordinate updating of laboratory standard operating procedures.
• Train and monitor the performance of junior staff.
• Acts as internal functions interface for AS and production teams.
• Based on delivery schedule of chemicals to the customer, plan for sampling and analysis to ensure
• Responsible for Laboratory Information Management system including login, reporting and create workflow.
• Development, Validation and optimization of analytical methods
• Ensure the maintenance of ISO 9000, ISO 14000 management system within the laboratory.
• Scheduling Calibration and maintenance of equipment according to ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and lab management.
• Hand on experience in handling in ICPMS, ICP-OES, GC, IC, Wet Chemistry and advanced instrumentation
• Well verse in ISO 17025 compliance and internal audit
• Updating and writing of standard operating procedures.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and activities for the laboratory.
• Maintaining and enforcing cleanroom regulations for all personnel, vendors, and visitors.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor or master\'s in chemistry or chemical-related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in cleanroom environment and manufacturing industry.
• Possess certification in Advance instrumentation, Lab Management Certificate or equivalent, Internal Auditor Certificate ISO/IEC 17025, and Method validation course certificate.
• Possess certification Singlas Signatory would be an added advantage.
• Candidate must have the ability to differentiate colour for work purposes.
• This role will be required to work in the vicinity of chemicals and wear various PPE like chemical- clothing and respiratory masks.

Skills and Abilities / Core Competencies:

• Experienced in ICPMS, ICPOES, GC, IC and advance instrumentation.
• Ability to work with diverse team.

Addtional Details

• Working Days and hours:

• Mon - Fri, 8.00am to 5.00pm (based on operations requirements) or
• Shift: 4-4-4-3 shift pattern, 00am to 8.15pm (based on operations requirements)
• Location: Tuas
• Salary: Up-to $4,800 (depending on experience)
