The Nanyang Business School (NBS) and School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) at Nanyang Technological University invite applications to fill one interdisciplinary faculty position in financial technology (FinTech). The level of appointment, which can be Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor (Practice), depends on the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s work experience and qualification.

Requirements:

NBS and SCSE are looking for a joint appointee with the necessary experience and knowledge in FinTech. The appointee should have a deep understanding of the business models in the FinTech ecosystem and emerging trends, and must demonstrate technical expertise in the core concepts, such as blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, data analytics, etc.

Candidates should preferably possess a relevant Ph.D. degree in Finance or a related field from a reputable university, have several years of relevant working experience at the senior level, and have a proven track record in teaching and/or curriculum development.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Developing and teaching relevant courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels in both NBS and SCSE

Developing co-curricular enrichment programmes in the domain of FinTech for students in NBS and SCSE

Promoting and facilitating collaboration of NBS and SCSE with the industry
