JOB DESCRIPTION

AIM OF THE JOB

Assist in legal and compliance work and liaising with consultant and services companies to secure required documents for business purposes.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Provide advice on legal and compliance matters assigned under the supervision of Legal Advisory Manager and/or Legal Advisory Director.
• Review contracts, agreements or any other documents in compliance with the laws, legal regulations and requirements.
• Work with external lawyers on giving legal advice or preparing legal Memos/Opinions in relation to the business activities of project companies and/or in participating in litigation procedures.
• Validate internal procedures and maintain required forms.
• Draft documents which are required for corporate governance in compliance with the commercial and taxes rules at both country and region levels
• Translate documents and review translation work done by others
• Provide update on changes in laws and regulations which are relevant to the company business
• Provide paralegal support to the team
• Other tasks assigned by the management

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of real estate market
• Fluency in oral and written Vietnamese and English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work under pressure
• Good computer skill (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Knowledge of corporate law and/or real estate law
• Legal practice capabilities are preferred
• Education Level Required: Bachelor of Law or equivalent
