Job Summary
The Senior Logistics Assistant - Warehouse and Cold Chain Management is responsible for executing general warehouse operations and activities. He/She performs warehouse operations in adherence to procedures, and the safe and efficient operations of goods and equipment. He/she also coordinates the deliveries, asset management and transaction documentation process, and performs the secure handling of goods. He/she also implements improvement opportunities within the warehouse operations. He/she may be required to work in rotating shifts and be physically fit. He is expected to be vigilant, decisive, and possess effective communication skills.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
\xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate requirements and activities to stakeholders
- Participate in value-based culture and a culture of accountability in the organisation
- Perform continuous improvement activities
- Perform WSH activities to ensure personal compliance to requirements
- Work with team members to support technology projects
- Perform transport operations within resources and cost allocation
- Review warehousing quality issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate arrangement or rotation of warehouse cargo and items
Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of SAP / Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Proficiency in basic Ms Office Applications
- Relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- Physically fit for tasks that may involve lifting and moving packages
- Good team player, able to work well independantly and in a team
- Fork Lift licence is preferred.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- GCE N/O Levels / NITEC
- 1-2 years of relevant working experience in warehouse operations.
