Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore\'s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

As part of the Attractions Development team, you will be supporting and working closely with the Design & Build (D&B) contractors to coordinate the overall experience and design intent for Rainforest Wild Park(s). You will also be providing support at all stakeholders\' engagements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the project delivery to achieve the design vision of Rainforest Wild within contract constraints.

Effectively coordinate internal design direction across various disciplines - Landscape/ Adventure/ Theming/ Animal requirements/ M&E.

Review and monitor material submissions, design proposals and shop drawings (through Bluebeam) submitted by the Contractor.

Actively attend, coordinate and participate in progress and design/ technical meetings with relevant stakeholders (i.e., contractors, consultants, specialists, Mandai Wildlife Group operators etc.)

Manage official correspondences with contractors via Aconex system promptly.

Follow up on coordination required on various works including but not limited to animal exhibits, back of house areas, theming, ID fit-outs, and areas interfacing with M&E and structure.

Support and monitor works on site, especially on guest-facing or animal-facing elements.

Actively liaise with stakeholders/ operators to obtain agreements.

Prepare presentation material including photoshopping, mood imagery sourcing, and PowerPoint layouts and present required material to Senior Management/ relevant stakeholders for necessary signoffs.

Record and document agreements including minute taking.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in architecture and design management.
  • Meticulous, and strong in design thinking and design management
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Team Player, proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a positive mindset.
  • Added advantage if candidate has:
  • architecture QP;
  • experience in technical drawing review and detailing;
  • experience in related fields such as interior design, graphics design etc.;
  • a keen interest in Nature!
