As a key member of NHGD senior management, the Senior Manager/Assistant Director supports the Executive Director in reviewing and analyzing business strategies and performance management.
Represents the Department in the absence of the Executive Director, in meetings as a subject matter expert for Finance, billing, and accounting-related matters for NHGD.
Reporting to the Executive Director of NHGD, the Senior Manager/ Assistant Director processes the financial activities to drive growth and profitability for NHGD.
The incumbent liaises with various stakeholders at the organizational level to negotiate the charging model and fees. The Senior Manager/ Assistant Director manages various billing systems to cater to different clientele requirements and needs.
The Senior Manager/Assistant Director is tasked to oversee all sides of accounting operations and procurement processes to ensure a high level of service standards and compliance with organization policies, laws, and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
Reviewing and analyzing business strategies and performance management \xe2\x80\x93 Finance Planning and Analysis
Leadership in driving Financial Activities to drive growth and profitability
Oversee all sides of Accounting Operations and Procurement processes
Ensure all finance staff are equipped with the competencies and skills required to perform the tasks required of them and proficient in managing key stakeholders
Participate in NHG cluster activities to promote collaboration among the institutions
Consult and collaborate with other institutions to ensure effective integration of cluster-wide strategic objectives, quality, and improvement projects in NHGD
Providing decision support to senior management, including financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic advice
Continuously review and improve financial processes and systems ensuring they are aligned and support the needs of NHGD
Undertake projects and any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. This could be within or external of NHGD, contributing to the development of NHG and public healthcare
Job Requirements
Relevant Bachelor\'s degree in Accountancy/ ACCA from a recognized university
Minimum 8-10 years in a management role
Proven ability to communicate and develop relationships with all levels of management in the client\'s organization
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
Passionate about driving healthcare in Diagnostics
Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Resourceful, innovative, and an excellent problem solver
Possess good organization and analytical skills
