To facilitate and contribute to the periodic review of the Gallerys strategic planning activities and adjust plans in response to evolving organisational needs.
To conduct environmental scanning to stay abreast of industry trends, opportunities and risks, and provide insights and recommendations based on industry analysis and competitive benchmarking, to inform strategic decision-making
To coordinate discussions with key stakeholders around the organisations long term strategic goals and desired outcomes, as well as facilitate cross-functional communication and coordination to prioritise workplan activities and overall resource allocation to achieve the desired strategic outcomes
To develop clear and concise communication materials to convey strategic goals and initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, and to ensure effective communication of strategic priorities throughout the organisaiton
To track strategy implementation and organisational performance against key performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
To support the periodic review of the Gallerys enterprise risk management framework, annual risk assessments with quarterly reporting of risk movements and the integration of risk management considerations into the strategic planning process
To collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans and prepare regular performance and risk management reviews and reports.
And any other duties assigned by the division.
Knowledge Management
To assist in developing and implementing strategies to capture, organise, and leverage organisational knowledge and to collaborate with department and functional leaders as well as knowledge managers to establish and implement specific initiatives to ensure that critical organisation information are up-to-date, and searchable within the organisation.
Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Arts Management, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related. Prior experience working in a non-profit/charity sector is a plus.
Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in strategic planning, with a track record of successfully developing and executing strategic initiatives.
Experience working with a Board of Directors and senior management, meeting coordination and/or tracking policies and procedures, is required.
Experience in risk management or relevant work experience in an arts-related portfolios is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills are required.
Displays a keen interest in arts and culture as an essential attribute.
