If you are a dynamic individual seeking a new career opportunity, read further!The Senior Manager, Campus Development, Estates reports to the Project Director (Campus Development, Estates), and is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the development and management of Building Services for University\'s campuses, buildings and facilities.The responsibilities of this role are:

• Works with stakeholders to plan and review space programme for the development of campus, buildings and facilities to support the academic, administrative and student activities
• Manages the master space plan and space audit
• Works closely with internal and external stakeholders, Consultants on design specification, space programme, cost and work schedule
• Develops project briefs/schedules, manages, reviews and implements workplace changes, monitor quality, cost and datelines
• Manages the tender calling, evaluation and award of contracts
• Ensures compliance with regulations on all building, fire, safety and health matters
• Monitors and reports the progress of construction works
• Carries out regular quality checks on the construction works during the construction period and works with the internal and external stakeholders on the building defect lists prior to handover of Campus Buildings
• Manages execution of direct contracts
• Co-ordinates with the stakeholders on the schedule to move into campus Buildings

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a good University
• Good knowledge of building development, maintenance regulations, laws and procedures with at least 5-year experience in a building project management.
• Technically competent in various software programmes such as Microsoft project and computer aided design.
• Strong organisational, administrative skills, interpersonal and communication skills
• To balance the project constraints and deliver building projects on time and within budget.
