Support the Head of Capital and Liquidity Stress Testing manage capital stress testing outcomes for both solvency/capital and liquidity stress scenarios. Provide business insights from stress testing to inform the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s strategy and Plan. This is a Group role and based out of Singapore.
The capital workstream evaluates the impact of stress on a range of capital metrics like Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1), Tier 1 capital, Total Capital, Minimum Requirement for Own Funds and Eligible Liabilities (MREL), Leverage Ratio etc.
Regulatory Deliverables
Execution and delivery across all enterprise stress tests required by the BoE/PRA (including ICAAP stress test, Annual Cyclical Scenario stress test, Recovery Plan stress test, Biennial Exploratory scenario stress test) for the capital workstream
Stress Test Process
Ensure timely production of capital workstream results and associated regulatory submissions (both qualitative and quantitative)
Prepare result decks for capital workstream for internal governance forums like Group Stress Testing Forum and assist in deck preparation for various senior Committees.
Comply with the Enterprise Stress Test Policy and Standard and other relevant policies and standards (like model risk, data quality, end user computing etc)
Manage changes in systems and/or the process stemming from change in regulations, business requirements, methodology etc.
Partner with members of the broader Stress Testing, Treasury, Finance, Risk and Technology teams
BAU Risk Management
Support the Management Team and the Board on emerging BAU risk scenarios impacting the Group (i.e. management stress tests) from capital perspective
Produce capital workstream results for downside scenarios to the BAU macro environment and effectively help shape the Corporate Plan
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s business strategy and model appropriate to the role

Our Ideal Candidate
Degree from accredited university in a numerate discipline (e.g. accounting, statistics, economics, mathematics or financial engineering) preferably those with qualifications like CFA or FRM
10+ years of experience in the banking industry or similar technical area
Previous or current experience in BAU capital reporting would be ideal
Strong at preparing senior committee packs and developing insights on stress results
Creative and a self-starter
Feels at ease while managing pressure and works well with the team
Builds and nurtures great relationships with stakeholders and collaborates well
