We are looking for Senior Manager, Commercial Consulting to join our Professional consulting team in Singapore. Plays a critical role in driving business growth and managing key customer relationships while providing strategic leadership and direction to the consulting team. The team consists of 13 team members and is reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Consulting. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in commercial consulting.About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • 7+ years revelant experience, min 4 yrs in consulting
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Consulting firm background is preferred
  • Experience for overseeing project is preferred, typically in APAC regions
  • Experience for managing project for 200K+ scale is preferred
What will you be doing in this role?
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants and first-line managers, providing guidance on their daily activities and supporting their professional development to enhance team performance and expertise.
  • Oversee large and complex customer engagements, directing multi-disciplinary teams and managing multiple projects and workstreams to ensure high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage concurrent customer engagements, ensuring excellence in project execution, adherence to timelines, and fulfilment of customer expectations.
  • Drive business development initiatives by leading proposal writing, customer presentations, and strategic networking activities to expand the firms customer base and market presence.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation, aligning team efforts with the broader goals of the commercial consulting practice.
  • Develop and oversee the practice areas analytics methodologies and best practices, ensuring they are innovative and tailored to meet complex commercial needs.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, contributing to strategic growth initiatives and exploring avenues for upselling and cross-selling consulting services.
  • Manage and negotiate major customer contracts and engagements, ensuring terms align with customer requirements and organizational goals.
  • Contribute to shaping the practice areas overall strategy and direction, influencing key decisions to drive success and growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing strategic guidance on R&D decisions and delivering insights that drive value and innovation.
  • Develop and cultivate strong customer relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Mentor and coach managers and consultants, promoting a culture of professional growth, excellence, and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with executive leadership to set strategic goals and priorities for the consulting practice, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, enhancing the firms reputation and building industry connections.
  • Manages and negotiates major customer contracts and engagements.
  • Recruit, train and supervise one or more teams of consultants and managers, providing them with feedback, coaching and career development opportunities.
  • Lead, direct, and review the teams work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department and organization.
  • Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices and procedures within broader area of responsibility.
  • Influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization.
  • Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage success and promote colleague growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities.
  • Own decision-making for staffing decisions for the team(s).
