As a corporate affairs expert, technical skills are just the start, strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed organisation are essential, as are creativity, quick-thinking and problem-solving skills.As part of the regional team, you will play an integral role in helping to meet our trust and growth ambitions, promoting consistency and collaboration, so that KPMG becomes the clear choice for clients and talent. This role presents an exciting opportunity to build relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region and beyond.This role is based within a dynamic ASPAC Corporate Affairs & Marketing team and reports to the Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, KPMG Asia Pacific.The role involves:

  • Overseeing corporate affairs activities and advising the business on potential issues affecting corporate and brand reputation.
  • Conceptualizing and implementing the regional corporate affairs strategy in communications, public affairs, and sustainability.
  • Developing and managing impactful programs and projects to promote and protect the brand, manage the firm\'s reputation, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Creating and managing content and media assets.
  • Contributing to internal and external corporate and leadership communications.
  • Engaging with media on issues and for marketing purposes.
  • Tracking, measuring, and analyzing initiatives, and continuously refining processes for better outcomes.
  • Leveraging capabilities and collaborating across the region.
Skills and experience
  • Over 15 years of experience in reputation management and communications roles.
  • Experience in corporate affairs within regulated industries is preferred.
  • Skilled in providing counsel and managing media and stakeholders during crisis situations.
  • Proven experience in running operations with project management abilities.
  • Expertise in communications, including conceptualizing, writing, editing, and media production.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across regional and global levels.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, preferably with experience in international and regional roles.
  • Comfortable in fluid situations and able to navigate complex matrix organisations.
