Overview

The role seeks to improve and value add to NUHS by bringing a systematic and centralized \'2nd line of defence\' approach to the effectiveness of independent investigations into serious Conflict of Interest or Whistle-blowing (WB) allegations.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose criteria for central coordination and investigation of COI/WB cases
• Establish guiding principles, independently assess and facilitate resolution whenever a COI / WB issue (based on criteria defined) arises
• Lead the review of all disclosed COIs and identify unclear COIs that might warrant closer scrutiny
• Lead the investigation of COI / WB allegations (based on criteria defined) that surface through the official WB channel
• Build a community of practice to develop internal capabilities relating to corporate investigations.
• Implement Data Analytics or AI tools to augment investigative reviews

• Bachelor\'s degree in any field with experience in Corporate Investigations, Forensics, Law Enforcement, Security Operations or related field with at least 12-15 years of experience in an investigative or forensic audit role.
• Strong familiarity or certification in investigation disciplines is advantageous. E.g. Professional Certified Investigator (PCI\xc2\xae) designated by ASIS International, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE\xc2\xae), etc
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong investigative skills
• Strong project management and presentation skills
• Highly analytical with keen attention to details
• Able to engage in sensitive and complex matters with empathy and impartiality
• Able to work independently and meet timelines
• Ability to distil varied data into information and \'connect the dots\'.
• Resourceful and inquisitive.
