Job Description

A multinational developer-owner-operator of real estate products and services is in search of a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management to join their team on a full-time basis in Singapore.
This organization is headquartered in Singapore, is listed in the Singapore stock-exchange and operates across five core asset classes including residential, retail, commercial & business parks, industrial & logistics and hospitality.

In the role of Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, the successful candidate will proactively drive risk management implementation across different asset classes, actively engaging and getting buy-in from Business Unit Heads.

Other key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Implement and roll out Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the FPL Group, including local and overseas subsidiaries.
• Oversee the Business Continuity Management programme of the Group.
• In charge of the overall implementation of an effective and efficient risk management programme, facilitate meaningful reporting from line management to the Group.
• Assist in conducting risk workshop and risk refresher course; implement programme and training to raise the overall risk conscious culture for the Group.
• Keep up to date the latest risk management issues and emerging trends and able to identify relevant risks that may impact the Group business.
• Be versatile and to bring in risk management experience to enhance the overall risk management process and framework.
• Understand, interpret and map risk appetite/ risk tolerance, conduct some financial analysis, and develop key risk indicators.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate and ability to think conceptually while be attentive to details.

Other requirements include but are not limited to:

• Degree in Accounting & Finance / Business.
• At least 5 years of working experience in enterprise risk management
• Good knowledge of risk management and internal control concepts, leading risk management practices and standards (e.g. ISO 31000, COSO) and SGX-ST requirements.
• Demonstrate the ability to think conceptually while at the same time be attentive to details.
• Knowledge of risk input to investment assessment is preferred.
• Ability to influence, engage, negotiate and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Good communication, interpersonal and presentation and report writing skills.
• Positive attitude, self-driven and resilient.
• A good team player.
