Job Description

* Serve as a business partner working within the ecosystem of the Faculties / Departments / Research Institutes on investigation, intelligence and cybersecurity matters. * Assist Serve as a business partner working within the ecosystem of the Faculties / Departments / Research Institutes on investigation, intelligence and cybersecurity matters. Assist the Head of Escalated Investigations to evaluate complaints, allegations and breaches received by the university through the Whistleblowing unit and other channels and advise on their suitability for investigations and further escalation. Conduct investigations in line with university's procedures and best practices including case management, interviewing, evidence collection, recommendations for disciplinary sanctions and attendance before committee of inquiry or in a court of law. Review the progress of each investigation regularly with the Head of Investigations to avoid potential delays. Relationship management with external agencies such as the Police and CPIB and other relevant investigation units or entities. Coordinate with the Office of Human Resources, Office of Legal Affairs, Campus Emergency & Security Division, and Office of Internal Audit for information requests. Lead efforts in gathering information through various means on issues and/or activities that may pose a threat and be detrimental to the university. This include strategizing intelligence frameworks, proactively monitoring developments on campus and creating intelligence products to disseminate information to relevant parties for further action. Lead, develop and implement training programs, when necessary, to equip Heads and appropriate staff with skill and expertise related to investigation and cybersecurity matters. Assist in the period review of the unit's Standard Operating Procedures. Participate and contribute to projects related to Governance, Risk Intelligence and Compliance. Qualifications Recognised University Degree in law, criminology or similar qualifications. At least 8 years of investigative experience in law enforcement or in a corporate environment focusing on fraud, cybercrimes, misconduct, and ethics violations. At least 5 years of intelligence gathering and/or analysis experience, preferably in a law enforcement agency. Candidates with experience in intelligence, OSINT and cybercrime investigations will have a distinct advantage. Candidate is expected to be objective, impartial and investigate cases meticulously and expeditiously. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
